You can invite other people to view all or parts of the Wiki. They will not be able to
change anything or share the Wiki with other people.

 

The Manage access page shows who owns the Wiki (you), any assigned Keepers,
and anyone else who has been given view only access.
You can share via two buttons in the top menu of the Manage access page

Invite by email
1. Click on the Invite by email button
2. Add the person’s email address
3. Select when you want the link to expire
4. Click on the green SEND button
5. Set the access you want to give the person by clicking on the red pencil

Selecting the first eye will give view only access to the whole Wiki. If you only want to
share parts of the Wiki, select these by clicking on the eye next to the sections or
pages you want to share. The first eye is now orange, indicating limited access.

You can change the access you have given people by clicking on the pencil in the
Access given column.

You can remove access at any time by clicking on the bin in the Remove Access
column.

Create an access link

1. Click on the Create an access link button
2. Give the link a descriptive name
3. Select when you want the link to expire
4. Click on the green CREATE button
5. Set the access you want to give by clicking on the red pencil

Share an access link

Click on the clipboard next to access link – this copies the link so that you can paste it
into an email, message or chat.

The person who receives the link will also need a password.
To share the password for the link, click on the clipboard next to access link password
- this copies the password so that you can paste it into an email, message or chat.

You can change the access you have given people by clicking on the pencil in the
Access given column.

You can remove access at any time by clicking on the bin in the Remove Access
column.

Making your Wiki public

When a Wiki is public, this means everyone can see everything in the Wiki without a password.

If you want to make your Wiki public, please speak to your portal admin, the person who manages the Wikis in your organisation.
